NT: NT Troops to be welcomed home from Iraq with parade
The Northern Territory will throw a welcome home parade for its airforce personnelreturning from operations in Iraq.
About 250 troops and 14 Hornet fighter jets were deployed from the RAAF Base Tindal,about 300 kilometres south of Darwin, in February.
Northern Territory Chief Minister CLARE MARTIN says they're expected to return homeby the end of May.
Ms MARTIN says it's important for the Northern Territory as a community to show itssupport to the service men and women.
The parade will be organised in partnership with the local Katherine Town Council andTindal RAAF Base.
