NSW: Sport store staff held up by armed men
SYDNEY, Aug 8 AAP - Two men armed with a handgun and a small axe held up a sports storein Sydney's north, tying up staff and customers.
Two store employees and two customers were bound with tape and forced into a room atthe rear of the store during the robbery, police said today.
The armed men entered the Neutral Bay store at about 3.45pm (AEST) yesterday and fledwith a small amount of cash and a large quantity of sports gear and clothing.
A police spokesman said no-one was injured in the incident.
The first offender was described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance,30-35 years old with short dark hair and stubble.
The second man was described as being of white/European appearance, 30-35 years old,of medium build with a shaved head.
