Fed: Howard admits Iraq WMD intelligence may have been wrong

CANBERRA, Feb 3 AAP - Prime Minister John Howard admitted today the intelligence advice
on weapons of mass destruction that his government relied on to go to war against Iraq
may have been wrong.

"In the fullness of time it might be demonstrated that the advice was inaccurate,"

Mr Howard said.

"We can't be absolutely certain (the advice was wrong).

"Obviously, the evidence is not pointing strongly in the other direction."
